Amity University Chhattisgarh Makes History in QS Asia University Rankings 2026

Raipur, Chhattisgarh: In a landmark achievement for higher education in the state, Amity University Chhattisgarh (AUC), Raipur, has etched its name into history by becoming the only self-financed university from Chhattisgarh to secure a place in the prestigious QS Asia University Rankings 2026. The recognition marks a defining moment not just for the institution, but also for the state’s aspirations in global education.

Amity University Chhattisgarh has been placed in the 1001-1100 band in the Overall Asia Rankings, a rigorous assessment that evaluates thousands of universities across the continent. In addition, the university earned an admirable Southern Asia regional rank of 330, further underscoring its growing academic influence in the region.

What makes the accomplishment even more remarkable is Amity University Chhattisgarh’s performance within the Amity universe of institutions, known for their academic quality and research culture. Among all Amity campuses, Amity University Chhattisgarh has emerged as a top performer, standing third overall-behind only Amity University Noida (Rank 187 in Asia) and Amity University Kolkata (Band 791-800 in Asia). This places Amity University Chhattisgarh firmly as the leading Amity campus in Central India, strengthening its reputation as a rising academic hub.

Speaking on the achievement, Professor (Dr) Piyush Kant Pandey, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Chhattisgarh, expressed deep pride and gratitude. “This recognition is a powerful testament to the collective commitment of our academic and administrative community towards excellence in education, research, and institutional quality,” he said. Dr. Pandey further noted that the ranking “reflects Amity University Chhattisgarh’s growing academic stature and its commitment to aligning with global benchmarks in higher education.”

He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the Amity leadership for their vision and mentorship. “I am profoundly grateful to our Honourable Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Honourable Chairman Dr. Aseem Chauhan, and Honourable Chancellor Dr. W. Selvamurthy for their constant guidance, support, and belief in the potential of Amity Chhattisgarh,” the Vice Chancellor added.

Recognizing the teamwork behind the success, Dr. Pandey acknowledged the pivotal roles played by Prof. K. K. Dwivedi, Vice President (Head Office), Dr. Sumita Dave, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Urmila S. Soni, IQAC Coordinator. He also praised the unwavering dedication of the university’s faculty members, administrative staff, researchers, and students, whose collective efforts helped elevate AUC to the global stage.
